Minnesota Relay
Commerce Department
Minnesota Relay provides telecommunications access for Minnesotans who are deaf, hard-of-hearing, speech impaired, deafblind, or mobility impaired. With the use of specially trained communication assistants (CAs) and specialized equipment, Minnesotans who are deaf, hard-of-hearing or speech disabled can communicate with users of standard telephones. Either party can initiate calls through Minnesota Relay.

State Academy for the Blind
Blind Academy
The State of Minnesota, through the State Academy for the Blind and in partnership with families, school districts, legislative bodies, and business and community leaders, is dedicated to the education and life preparation of blind, visually impaired, and deaf/blind learners through the provision of a dedicated educational and residential program that includes Braille, independent travel, assistive technologies and individualized educational services, enabling students to reach their fullest potential.

State Services for the Blind (SSB) is a branch within the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development. SSB believes that blindness should never stop people from obtaining jobs, participating in training, or in any activities which reflect their potential and interests. SSB services is open to anyone of any age in Minnesota who has a vision loss that creates a barrier to their vocational or personal independence
Telephone Equipment Distribution Program
Human Services Department
The Telephone Equipment Distribution (TED) Program provides telephone equipment to people who are deaf, hard of hearing, deafblind, speech impaired or have a physical disability and need adaptive equipment in order to use the phone. The equipment is loaned out at no cost as a long-term loan.
